Thanks, West. :)

I've been working on some of the spell sounds, but I've only come up with two thus far that I think are any good- a fire spell and a generic sort of windy/liquid spell sound. I'm not sure how either will work in the game, so some feedback in that area especially is appreciated. =)

Fire.aif sounds like moving fire, it would fit a fireball cast (not an explosion though)
Spell1.aif sounds like.. either a magic whip hit or maybe a 'casting failed' or 'curse' sound.

Good ones I'd say! The fire spell is definitely usable already, the other might be used for.. I think I have seen shamans (?) casting a spell on their comrades.

Will you wait with uploading to opengameart or shall I do it? (Which license?) :)

Go ahead and put them on opengameart. I won't  have access to my computor until the end of the week (currently posting from my iTouch).

EDIT: Wait, qubodup's been banned...? ^^

Well, in any event, I'll keep working. And the mac build is here! :D

Another sound I've come up with... and don't ask about what the original recording was of before I engineered it...

I really like the fire spell effect you attached last time artisticdude..but for this one I don't know there's a strange artificial echo that disturbs the bite sound..maybe it's just my impression..

Hmm, now that you mention it, there is something odd about it that I was only subconsciously aware of before (working for too long on one sound tends to result in 'tunnel vision'). I'll work that out, thanks for the comment. =)

Yeah! It happens to 2D artists too :)
if I watch hundreds of times an icon that I'm creating sometimes I don't notice some artifacts that normally I would notice at first sight..it's normal I think

I know exactly what you're talking about, being something of a pixel artist on the Wesnoth forums.:)

Anyhoo, here's a teleport sound effect I've been working on. There are still some tweaks I plan on making, but this gives a fairly complete picture of my vision for the finished product.

EDIT: for some reason there are 5 seconds of silence or so following the actual sound. :S I could have sworn they weren't there when I exported the sound.

Okay, here's the finished product. I made a few minor tweaks, and made sure the file is just the sound, not an additional 5+ seconds of silence.

Hmm, I've been out of things for a while. A fencing camp and two tournaments... but now that the fencing season is almost over, I've got more free time available.

Here's a die sound for the worms the player combats in the first level.

Hi, I'm currently integrating some soundeffects. Could someone provide a .wav-version of the fire-sounds? Thanks.

I get the feeling that "someone" means me. :P

Sure thing, I'll try and upload them as soon as my internet connection starts working again (I've been having connection problems -serious connection problems- over the past week or so:dodgy:).

As a side note, I'm relieved that someone besides myself has posted in this thread before I triple-posted.:P
