Just for the team, to know what i'm doing =).
I'm working on:
The re-make of the window frame, to be scaleable.
I'm working on a higher resolution adaptation of my gui design.

Looking foreward to see it. What I have seen so far fits the style of the game very well.

Best wishes
Andreas

On scalabilty: Please contact fusion on irc to discuss which parts need to be scalable. He argued that making some parts fixed size (or only available at few size, one small one big for example) will be advantageous and I agreed on that. Maybe this will make your work easier or reduce the amount. However, window frames sounds like something that definitely need scalability.

well i don't know what he really need, please post it.
What i think that he need, is:
Window frame.
Icons of the frame (close, slide bars, check box, etc)

I'm working on a resolution of 1600x1200, and the widgets could be resized to 50%.

I'm posting a preview of what i'm doing.
I did some little changes:
The close button is more integrated. A more clean appearance. And defined shapes.
As you know, this isn't finished, so be patient.

Cheers

wow, good work!
Btw, would you work on other menu gui? I mean quest menu, character selection menu and so on? I think UI all made in such style will look really awesome!

I've put it in-game, and I must say it looks great!  It was a quick hack and therefore the image is a bit stretched in x, wouldn't be to hard to adjust that. Now we need to replace those itemlabels:D

I'd like to make a proposal for the inventory gui. I'd like to remove the character render in the inventory and replace it with something like this:

We could save some space here and instead of rendering the character twice we can zoom in to the character in the actual game window. The layout here is kinda messy but its was again a quick hack to make the proposal :)

Very Impressive, this looks really great. Do you plan *specialized* windows for the other main ingame windows (character window etc) as well ?

On the inventory proposal: I personally like the character view in the inventory (thats why I made it this way :D ). The main reason for using a separate scene for this image is speed. I use the render-to-texture technique and for some reason, this is by factor 10 slower than normal rendering. So I created a new scene containing as few as possible objects...
